SevOne, a network and infrastructure management solutions provider, has launched an SD-WAN Monitoring Solution that aims to increase the operational agility of managed services providers (MSPs) offering multiple, complex network services over their multi-tenant, multi-vendor software-defined wide area networks (SD-WANs). The solution is based on the company’s data platform.
The SevOne SD-WAN Monitoring Solution, which will provide initial support for Cisco SD-WAN, delivers MSPs the foundation of real-time and historical visibility into their network with specific tenant health. The MSPs can easily expand the solution and increase visibility across their entire service delivery path, including enterprise Wi-Fi from campus to branch, software defined data centres and more. The solution assists MSP network operations and engineering teams by effortlessly transitioning from offering MPLS-based services to new hybrid SD-WAN-based services.

Elsewhere, the DC Network Equipment market tracker early edition from IHS Markit suggests that the SD-WAN (appliance + control and management software) revenue reached $162 million in first quarter of 2018. As reported by Light Reading, this is an increase of 12%. VMware – after its VeloCloud acquisition – led the SD-WAN market with 19% share of the first quarter revenue, Aryaka was second with 18% revenue share, whereas Silver Peak rounded out the top 3 with 12%.
