Deutsche Telekom and Tele2 sell T-Mobile Netherlands for €5.1B

Deutsche Telekom and Tele2 are selling T-Mobile Netherlands to WP/AP Telecom Holdings, a consortium jointly controlled by Apax and Warburg Pincus.

A strategic review of T-Mobile NL was launched by Deutsche Telekom in May. The deal, worth an enterprise value of €5.1 billion, marks the completion of the review.

Ericsson deploys 25,000 base stations in Russia to support Tele2’s 5G rollout

Ericsson has supported Tele2's 5G rollout by deploying 25,000 base stations across Russia.

During MWC 2019, when in-person events were less of a rarity, Ericsson and Tele2 reached a five-year network modernisation deal.

The 25,000 base stations milestone represents the completion of 50 percent of last year's deal, Ericsson claims.
