M2M retail sector analysed in latest industry research

A report from Research and Markets has assessed the retail sector for machine to machine (M2M) communications and argues the market for wirelessly connected point of sale (POS) and multi-space parking meters are among the most advanced aspects in the space.

Gemalto rolls out industry-first M2M module to target industrial Internet of Things

With a view to target applications in machine to machine (M2M) and industrial Internet of Things (IoT), Gemalto has rolled out the new Cinterion ELS31, a novel LTE Category 1 wireless module to enhance 4G LTE connectivity.
